Overview of the conference

The 19th Magnetic Recording Conference (TMRC) will be organized in Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore from July 29 to July 31, 2008. As a trivia, this is the first time that the TMRC is being organized outside the USA. This year, the conference will focus on recording media, head-disk interface and measurement technology. The conference will consist of oral and poster sessions. The oral sessions will comprise only invited talks. As per the tradition of TMRC, invited speakers will present their work in the poster session as well. The poster session will also include presentations from contributing speakers. Only invited papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. Details regarding manuscript submission will be provided later. We are looking forward to your participation to make this conference a great success!
