The 19th Magnetic Recording Conference (TMRC) will be organized in Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore. One of Singapore¡¯s premier 5-star hotels, it is located near the picturesque Singapore river, downtown and the shopping district Orchard road. By taxi, it takes roughly 20-30 minutes from Changi airport to the hotel.

In order to take advantage of the discount rates, please send the reservation form before 06 July 2008 (Sunday) via fax or email directly to hotel upon completion. Thereafter, rooms are subject to availability at Hotel’s best available rate. To get to the conference venue, the most convenient and recommended way is to take a taxi or cab from Changi International Airport, straight to the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. In Singapore, taxi fares are affordable and are charged according to electronic meter readings based on the distance traveled. There are several hotels with similar names. So, when you tell the hotel name to the taxi driver, please mention the hotel name in full, "Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel" and in addition you may say Havelock Road. The MRT station (Metro or Subway equivalent) nearest to the hotel is Outram Park (EW16) which is about 1 km from the conference site.
